Danish design and Italian craftsmanship
The fashion brand was established in 1986 by Elise Gug and her husband Niels Erik Garde Kongshaug. Elise Gug graduated from the Danish Design School in 1982 with a desire to design classic clothing collections.
Elise has always been fascinated by icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, and with her own brand, inspiration unfolded on the drawing board. Today, Elise Gug still creates classic collections that should give women the feeling of being beautiful and confident. Just like Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly were.
Elise Gug is Danish design at its best, and is today one of the oldest fashion houses in Denmark, which over time has never compromised with either design or quality.
